To fully understand the Storks Mission, you need to be aware of the following facts:
- Astoundingly, one out of every four storks never makes it to its final destination.
- A staggering 1.2 million storks were shot out of the sky last year alone.
- Since the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling, 47 million storks have been shot down.
Save The Storks is a grassroots, pro-life non-profit with the mission of saving these endangered creatures and the precious cargo they carry. We seek to empower every abortion-minded mother to choose life and to share with them the good news of Jesus.
Using mobile ultrasound units equipped with a state-of-the-art sonogram machine and the ability to provide pregnancy tests, we are able to meet with abortion-minded mothers right at the door of an abortion clinic to show them an image of their child. The majority of the women we come in contact with are not fully convinced that abortion is the best option, but instead feel as if it is their only option.
Through partnerships with pregnancy centers across the United States, we are able to establish more long term relationships with the mothers who choose life and help them set out on the right foot for motherhood or adoption. We differ from abortion protesters in the sense that we are outside the abortion clinics with resources to help women in practical and tangible ways.
Few things in life are more satisfying than empowering women to overcome difficult circumstances. And how, here’s an encouraging statistic for you:

Our vision is to save millions of mothers from the pain of abortion. People who are pro-choice won’t talk about the trauma most women go through after having an abortion, the deep emotional pain that can last a lifetime, or the physical dangers of having an abortion. We want to make sure women know all of their options and give them the resources and support they need to choose life.
Our plan is to place Stork Buses (mobile ultrasound units) outside of every clinic or hospital where abortions are being performed. We do this by partnering with local pregnancy resource centers who provide the actual sidewalk counseling, sonograms, free pregnancy tests, and following counseling, classes, and mentoring relationships that are so important for women who choose life. Our mobile ultrasound units, designed inside of our state-of-the-art and welcoming Stork Buses help pregnancy centers reach the women who wouldn’t visit a pregnancy resource center, but will board the Bus for a free sonogram.
We seek to be proactive by pursuing women in need instead of waiting for them to come to us, to be efficient by helping as many women as we can in cost-effective and innovative ways, and to be compassionate in our approach by expressing kindness, gentleness, and graciousness to everyone with whom we come into contact.
