Twitter Loves Planned Parenthood. Here’s Why You Should Be Really, Really Upset About It.

Live Action has come under the scrutiny of Twitter’s advertising “policies” and it doesn’t look good.

The pro-life news platform recently tried to run advertisements on Twitter, but their ad was denied because their tweets are considered by Twitter to be inflammatory. The ad in question simply called people to stand for the dignity and value of unborn children. Super controversial, right?

Instead of approving the ad, Twitter instead responded that before Live Action could run advertising on the platform they must first delete all of their tweets deemed “offensive.”

What are these offensive tweets? See for yourself below:

Rather than being offensive or inflammatory, these tweets raise important questions. Should truth (or what could be true) really be censored because we don’t like it? Are we willing to let the blood of 3,000 innocent human beings every day stay on our hands because we wouldn’t question the ethics of abortion its main provider, Planned Parenthood.

What if Planned Parenthood is wrong? Are we allowed to ask that question? After all the media silencing and censoring in an effort to promote the message that Planned Parenthood stands for women’s health care, what if they don’t?

The evidence points to the fact that Planned Parenthood doesn’t actually care about women’s health care:

It’s not healthcare if we can’t even talk about it.

The value of a free press, free marketplace of ideas, and free exchange of thought helps protect us from any single line of thinking that could be false. In this case, we need social media platforms that allow for thinking on all sides of an issue to help discern truth from error and inform people on all sides of an issue.

That’s why America has an independent press, and that’s what people like about social media, especially Twitter. It’s a place to have a conversation – a dialogue – about issues important to people, and increasingly, it’s becoming impossible to have that conversation.

In America today, babies are losing their lives to the tune of two per minute. But because our society has bowed to the god of Planned Parenthood, we aren’t allowed to talk about it.

I hope Twitter will reconsider their dangerous position on this issue and allow Live Action to run advertisements that can help educate and inform people on abortion, Planned Parenthood, and the value and dignity of human life.

DEAR READER

We hope this article enlightened and inspired you to stand up for life.

Despite the overturning of Roe v. Wade, abortions are still prevalent in our nation. As a response to the overturning, the media: from the news to entertainment sources to even political figures and celebrities, have pushed abortion as an ongoing agenda, shaping the way this generation thinks and acts. Misinformation is being spread every day, and people are sadly believing the lies.

Our articles and stories aim to tell one thing: the truth.

We know that it is both a blessing and a challenge to understand the reality of abortion, because knowledge incites belief, and belief incites action. But we’re in this together. We believe that we can make abortion unthinkable.

With your support, we look forward to a future where young women are empowered to fight for their own rights: a right to bring life into the world, to be fearless leaders, to be examples of hope, strength, and undeterred resilience. We look forward to a future where life can happen.

If this article strengthened your belief to reach women everywhere with the truth and to let life happen, then please consider helping us extend our reach by making a gift right now. Your gift of just $10 or $20 helps our mission to create a story of hope and empowerment for every woman facing an unplanned pregnancy.

We aim to create a culture that views “pro-life” as equivalent to having empathy and compassion, providing holistic care (before and beyond pregnancy) and education, and most importantly, choosing to speak and act in love. We are pro-life, pro-love, pro-woman, pro-solution.

Don’t just be part of the movement, be part of the solution, and give today.
