The Pregnancy Center of Sanford will soon be celebrating 20 years of service to the community. Yet, the best anniversary present of all is the recent present of the delivery of what the organization affectionately refers to as “Paul.” The mobile unit will be available to travel to any location to offer pregnancy testing, consultation and sonograms for women in need of the services. Following 2 years of planning, praying and fundraising the center has finally gone “mobile” and can offer confidential help for those in need. The 3 ton, 25 foot long, state-of-the-art medical mobile unit was delivered fresh off the assembly line and custom designed for the Pregnancy Center.
According to Center Founder, Andrea Kraziese, The mobile units name, “Paul” was given in honor of a beloved board member, Paul West “who entered into glory last year.” He served faithfully for more than a decade and it was Paul’s passionate vision for the ministry to “Go Mobile”.
Friends, family, pastors, board members and others gathered recently as “Paul” drove down the road toward its destination at the center. The “Save the Storks” delivery was welcomed by many and those in attendance for the unveling also enjoyed a reception of appetizers and a tour of the facility.
