Ann Baker spent her growing up years in the heart of the beautiful Black Hills in South Dakota. She earned her Interdisciplinary Sciences degree from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology before marrying Storks’ founder and CEO, Joe Baker. Their marriage and entrepreneurial adventures began immediately as they purchased a Sprinter van and began criss-crossing the country to attend Christian concerts and festivals to gain traction and attention for their dream of equipping PRCs and mobile medical units to save the lives of unborn children. Together they lived like gypsies, accumulating a trove of legendary stories that have become part of Stork-lore.
Now living in a real house, with real furniture, and parenting two young boys, Ann’s favorite activities include spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors. She loves to start her day with an early cup of hot coffee before the rest of the household wakes up.
As a full-time mom, Ann keeps active in the ministry by handling payroll and various finance-related tasks, as well as participating in fund-raising relationships and events with her husband. Around the office, everyone enjoys her beautiful smile and big heart. With grace, resilience and courage, she has faithfully journeyed through the early days of dreaming, launching and development, to walk alongside the growing team and enthusiastically support and champion resource centers, mothers and unborn babies across the country.
Blessed to enjoy the fruits of motherhood while fulfilling the Lord’s call on her heart and life, Ann encourages everyone to pay attention to how the Lord is leading and calling you to serve. Our broken world has so many needs, and those who work and volunteer reap great rewards!
