Megan was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she lived for the first 21 years of her life. Although she has lived in both Dallas and Colorado Springs in recent years, the city of Albuquerque and beautiful culture of New Mexico still hold a very special place in her heart.
Growing up, Megan’s parents co-pastored a church. Watching as her mom was empowered to lead alongside her father sparked something inside Megan- to see women filled with purpose, strength, identity, and hope.
In her early teenage years, Megan felt God developing a deep passion for the unborn and the mothers who feel hopeless. As she got older, her passion for pro-life work grew stronger and created a desire in her to work somewhere that was actually making a difference, not only for babies but for women as well. As the Solutions Support Specialist at Save the Storks, Megan’s primary role is to connect with pregnancy centers and talk about how Storks can best support them. Whether it’s Stork Buses or trainings and consultations, Megan provides pregnancy centers with the information they need about partnering with Save the Storks.
Megan is a graduate of both Christ for the Nations Institute and Dallas Baptist University, where she studied Marketplace Ministry and Psychology, respectively. She plans to continue her education and study counseling in the future. She moved to Colorado Springs in 2017 to be near family and loves spending time with her siblings, as well as her niece and two nephews. In her free time Megan enjoys watching movies, drinking coffee, salsa dancing, doing puzzles, and watercolor painting.
