Tyler Hunt is passionate about film. A native of Pennsville, New Jersey, Tyler attended the University of Valley Forge in Pennsylvania, where he earned an undergraduate degree in ministry. After graduating, Tyler worked as a young adults’ pastor for about a year before pursuing his film passion at Regent University. At Regent, Tyler earned an M.A. in Cinema and Television. “Film is what I do for a living, what I love, and what I want to do for the rest of my life,” he said.
At Save the Storks, Tyler manages all video production, and his skill has played an integral role in establishing Save the Storks’ media identity. “He’s really good at what he does,” says Save the Storks founder and CEO, Joe Baker, of Tyler’s skill. “He’s super disciplined and committed to being a pro at what he does.” For his part, Tyler wants to “bring all honor and glory to Jesus Christ” through the creative medium of film.
Tyler is grateful that through Save the Storks he has the opportunity to live out his passion for film as a full-time job. “Through video work,” he says, “I have a direct effect on the image of Save the Storks, and my responsibility is to present as high quality an image as possible.” Check out our YouTube channel to see some of Tyler’s outstanding video work for Save the Storks.
Tyler is also developing his skill on the other side of the camera, as an up-and-coming actor.
Asked whether he believes others should consider a career working for the pro-life cause, Tyler shared that the pursuit of God’s call for each individual life is paramount. “I would tell people to pursue what God has put on their heart and what they are absolutely passionate about and could do for the rest of their life,” he said. “In that, God will direct you to where you need to be and you will be most effective in that place.”
