Job Summary:

The Church Partnership Coordinator supports the Church Programs & Partnerships team by networking with church leaders, building relationships, and partnering with them by connecting them to one of Save the Storks church programs. Storks church connection strategy is both Business-to-Business (Storks-to-Church connection) and Business-to-Consumer (Storks-to-Christians/parishioners), but all of it revolves around equipping people to reach and serve women in an unplanned pregnancy.

The Church Partnership Coordinator will establish a bridge for churches who could benefit from a partnership with pro-life organizations to better
champion the cause of life. The Church Partnership Coordinator connects with church leaders through phone calls, video conferences, emails, conferences, and traveling in person for face-to-face meetings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish partnerships with churches and church leaders
  • KPI: Establish partnerships with at least 8 churches a quarter. Specifically target churches in abortion critical markets and
  • KPI: Travel to and represent Storks in at least 1 church conference per quarter. At least 1 conference needs to be youth focused. Manage the budget and details for these event appearances.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing partners.
  • Work with Director of Church Programs & Partnership to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategy
  • Promote Save the Storks resources including Unplanned Grace, 30 Day Devo, Start Course, and any other resources created by STS for the use of churches. Promotion may include interviews, podcasts, speaking engagements, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Speak at churches and other large public events when necessary.
  • Work on other projects as assigned by Director of Church Programs and Partnerships and other leaders, including but not limited to writing, presentation creation, and assistance with program creation.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a theology or business-related field
  • Knowledge of pro-life and Save the Storks ‘compassionate approach
  • Ability to professionally interact with high level ministry leaders and experts
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and public speaking experience
  • Experience connecting with ministry leaders. A pre-existing network of church contacts is a benefit.
  • Ability to extensively research topics relating to the church and pro-life ministry
  • Living in an abortion critical market is a plus. Abortion critical markets mostly include major markets, such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Florida, etc.

Physical and Other Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Travel required up to 40% of the year
