March For Life

March for Life 2020

Save the Storks joins the March for Life 2020

The 47th annual March for Life, the world’s largest annual human rights demonstration, will be held on Jan. 24, 2020. Save the Storks will join thousands of pro-lifers in Washington, D.C. for this historic march. The theme for the 2020 March for Life is “Life Empowers: Pro-Life is Pro-Woman.”

Meet our 2020 March for Life Ambassadors

Q: Why are you pro-life?

A: I, as well as 3 of the 6 kids in my family, was adopted into a family that is pro-life, pro-adoption, and pro-family. My parents always treated all of us the same and I often forgot I was even adopted because of this. The older I got, the more I began to realize how difficult it must have been for my biological mother to sacrifice so much on behalf of giving me one of the biggest gifts ever: LIFE!

Now as an adult, a goal of mine is to help women realize that they can choose life for their baby and that adoption is a beautiful choice.

Q: Why is the March for Life important for the pro-life movement?

A: It is an honor and joy for me to come together with other individuals who share the passion of celebrating every life, every heartbeat, and every heroic choice women make. The March for Life enables the pro-life community to share their voice about our commitment to actively fight for women and their unborn babies.

Q: Why are you pro-life?

A: I am pro-life because I believe that a person’s right to live is far more important than another’s right to choose. Every life is inherently valuable, and it is our responsibility to protect those who cannot yet defend themselves.

Q: What does marching mean to you?

A: At the foundation of every successful movement is one thing: action.

“Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?’”-James 2:17.

Just as true service requires deeds, so a true movement needs action. This is why Save the Storks has placed action, along with love and compassion, at the forefront of our mission. Events like the March For Life give our community the opportunity to engage in what we believe in and a chance to have our voices heard. There is nothing more valuable than that.
