In an exciting step forward, Save the Storks, our platform For Every Woman, and the OC Rescue Mission will launch the first For Every Woman mobile medical clinic in the U.S. This project is a dream two years in the making. The launch marks a significant milestone in the mission to support women across Orange County. Additionally, it will connect more women with the online platform For Every Woman.
The For Every Woman MMC Launch Day Celebration
The For Every Woman Mobile Medical Clinic debuted on May 17, 2024, at the Orange County Rescue Mission’s Village of Hope campus in Tustin, California. The launch was a celebration of hard work and dedication from each party involved in the two-year journey to make this dream a reality. It costs $380,000 to build this mobile medical clinic. It provides the highest standard of care to serve women with the least access to the quality care they deserve.
This launch is a result of the indispensable support from the community in Orange County. Each partner came together to serve women and families. Staff from Horizon Pregnancy Clinic in Huntington Beach will deliver medical services for the mobile medical clinic, such as ultrasounds, STD testing, and counseling. Mariners Church has contributed 50 volunteer health professionals, including doctors and nurses. Save the Storks will provide training, strategic planning, scheduling, and website management for the clinic.
The For Every Woman Mobile Medical Clinic, The First of Its Kind
This state-of-the-art mobile medical clinic is uniquely designed to provide essential medical and counseling services to women facing unplanned pregnancies. Inside, it features an exam room for medical care and a counseling room, offering information on pregnancy options and connecting women with the support they need to choose life.
The major difference between this mobile medical clinic and the 102 other mobile health clinics that Save the Storks has helped to launch is its new initiative, For Every Woman. For Every Woman is an online platform with a comprehensive database designed to assist women facing unplanned pregnancies. It connects women with on-the-ground resources, providing vital support before, during, and after pregnancy.
The Future of the For Every Woman Mobile Medical Clinic
The OC Rescue Mission’s president, Bryan Crain, believes in the mobile medical clinic and its ability to serve more women by traveling to neighborhoods across their city. By partnering with a platform like For Every Woman, more women will know about the variety of resources available to them when facing life’s surprises like an unexpected pregnancy.
“In the long run, we want people to think of foreverywoman.org when they face a situation like this,” Crain said. “We want it to be on everybody’s radar.”

The mobile medical clinic plans to operate eight hours daily, five to six days a week. This means it could serve 2,500 to 3,500 women in its first year. It will begin by serving areas in Orange, Santa Ana, and the OC Rescue Mission. In the future, it plans to expand to Anaheim and other neighboring cities.
