Our Mission

We exist to partner with pregnancy resource centers and give abortion-vulnerable women a choice that will change their lives forever. We partner with resource centers all over the nation, providing them with powerful tools and training to more effectively connect with those women in their communities. With the support of people like you, we have built 43 Stork Buses (with 4 currently in production and 8 fundraising), and helped save over 4,000 babies.

How We Accomplish Our Mission

Local pregnancy centers offer an incredible service for expectant mothers by providing ongoing health care and support to women in crisis during their pregnancy and after their baby is born.

Through our partnership with pregnancy centers, we provide the tools and resources they need to get closer to those who need their services. Our Stork Bus minimizes the distance between pro-life professionals and the women who most need them, and our various consulting packages help pregnancy centers understand how to better utilize their staff and resources to reach a greater number of women.

We offer a variety of services to pregnancy centers across the country. These include:

Our Name

The legendary story of the stork makes it the perfect symbol for our pro-life nonprofit. Storks represent mothers and their babies, and our commitment to caring for them by offering hope, compassion, and truth ultimately saves lives.

People are used to campaigns designed to save animals. When they hear our name, they wonder, “Who in the world would kill a stork?” Our response and branding disarms those who would criticize what we do and communicates in a winsome way that we believe abortion threatens mothers and motherhood.

Our Core Values

Innovation provides new and fresh ideas to what’s already been established. It’s part of what makes Save the Storks unique in the pro-life movement. And if you’re involved in the pro-life movement, we want to hear your ideas for innovation as well! Use our contact form to share your ideas with us, and if we’re able, we want to help fund them.

We believe the command to love is a call to action. We work with our pregnancy center affiliates to provide expectant mothers with the spiritual, physical, financial, and emotional support they need to choose life. And we do it in a generous, compassionate, and loving way.

We believe in one God, the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God,
begotten from the Father before all ages, God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God, begotten, not made;
of the same essence as the Father. Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven;
he became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary, and was made human.
He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried.
The third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures.
He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will never end.

And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life.
He proceeds from the Father and the Son,
and with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified. He spoke through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church. We affirm one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and to life in the world to come.
Nicene Creed

This is Our Primary Motive.

We Love, Because He First Loved Us.

Woman at the Well

Jesus was far more concerned about the woman’s thirst than her behavior. Though he called her out on her lifestyle, he didn’t dwell there; he brought the issue up to simply reveal to her how thirsty she was. And she was very thirsty. She was thirsty for love, kindness, forgiveness, and truth. Her deepest need was for fellowship with him.

We seek to offer each mother that we meet the same thing – an encounter with Jesus. We are not there to judge her for her desire to terminate her pregnancy, but, like Jesus, to offer her living water.

Jesus said to her, “whoever drinks this water will be thirsty again. Whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never be thirsty. The water that I will give him will become in him a well of life that lasts forever.”

The woman said, “Sir, give me this water so I will never be thirsty. Then I will not have to come all this way for water.”
