Colorado-based pro-life organization, known for innovative Mobile Medical Clinics and pregnancy resource center support, to participate in statewide day of giving
Colorado Springs, CO (Dec. 6, 2019) – Pro-life non-profit Save the Storks invites Coloradans to support its mission to empower moms who choose life by donating on Colorado Gives Day, December 10, 2019.
Donating to Save the Storks on Colorado Gives Day will help more women who choose life. The pro-life non-profit ministry works with pregnancy resource centers to help meet the greatest needs for moms, including housing, transportation, and educational opportunities.
“Colorado Gives Day is one of the most important fundraisers of the year. Donations help us support the community and ensure more women are given the full range of options and resources when facing an unplanned pregnancy,” said Diane Ferraro, Chief Communications Officer.
Donations made to Save the Storks will go towards the organization’s general fund. This fund directly impacts initiatives for moms and babies.
By participating in the day of fundraising, the ministry will also receive a share of the $1 Million Incentive Fund. Community First Foundation and FirstBank each contribute $500,000 to create a $1 million fund, one of the largest incentive funds in the country. Every nonprofit receiving a donation on Colorado Gives Day receives a portion of the fund, which increases the value of every dollar donated.
Presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank, Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy through online giving. The event is powered by ColoradoGives.org, a year-round, online giving website.
