MMC #101 – Noah
Mobile Medical Clinic #101 just arrived at AWC in San Antonio, TX.
This MMC is named Noah. Here’s the story behind the name:
Francesca, a mother from the GlowBodyPT community in Italy, initially had two children and had not planned on having any more kids. Struggling with guilt over a past abortion and having experienced a miscarriage, she was shocked to find out she was pregnant again.
Cultural and familial pressures added to her anxieties, leaving her uncertain about welcoming another child. Especially given her other child was born with a club foot, leading to frequent medical expenses. At eight weeks into the pregnancy, Francesca faced a near-tragedy with placental abruption, leading to terrifying hemorrhaging. She realized how much she WANTED her baby to live and found herself desperately praying to God to keep him alive in her womb.
Despite a traumatic c-section and facing the worst flood of her lifetime during labor, Francesca delivered a healthy baby boy named Noah. The flood wiped out entire homes in her community and ruined the entire bottom floor of their home. Well before the flood, they had already chosen the name Noah, which means ‘rest’ to her family. It wasn’t until a month or so later that she realized her baby Noah was born during the worst flood of her lifetime.
Amidst the devastation, Noah’s birth brought hope and redemption, symbolizing life amidst death. Francesca’s journey embodies themes of reconciliation, forgiveness, and divine blessing. It’s an honor to name the next MMC after her son.
MMC #102 – Baby Miller/Dee
Stork Bus #102 partners with Options for Her in Cherry Hill, NJ. This Mobile Medical Clinic is special because it has two names: Baby Miller and Dee.
Save the Storks was proud to present avid pro-life advocate Dee with this bus to honor her life and commitment to serving abortion-minded women. When Dee was a teenager she found herself in an unplanned pregnancy. Despite being told to abort, Dee chose life for her baby. Unfortunately later on, Dee’s daughter chose abortion which ended up affecting her mental health and life.
Now, Dee fights for women to know the truth about abortion by serving Save the Storks. Dee was honored by this surprise. She hangs a photo of this Mobile Medical Clinic in her room as a reminder of the importance of her mission to help women choose life.
MMC #103 – Nancy
Stork bus #103 has now arrived in Akron and Canton, Ohio. This bus is in partnership with Eva Women’s Clinic. The MMC was named Nancy in honor of one of the Pregnancy and Parenting Center’s patrons.
